Campaigns
—
Email & SMS blasts to a customer segment — sent from the shop's own account, straight to customers. Opt-outs are honored automatically; every send lands in the customer's Messages thread. Nothing crosses to NEXUS.

Automation
—
When this happens, do that. Card scanned → notify. New contact → welcome text. Deal moved → open a task. Runs on this computer over your own CRM — nothing crosses to NEXUS.

Billing
—
Invoices & estimates, coupons, and store credit — all on this computer, tied to your customers. Tax is computed by the node; a store-credit payment draws down the customer's balance.

Reviews
—
Ask happy customers for a review (text/email with your Google/Facebook link), track requests, and keep your reviews in one place. Automate it: Automation → “deal Won → send a review request.”

Lead-capture forms — buylist intake, mailing-list signup, event RSVP. A submission becomes a CRM contact, fires your automations, and can open a deal. Fill it in-store now; public web-embed needs hosting.

Backup & data
Your customers, invoices, leads, and history live on this computer. Back them up so a dead drive can't erase your business — it auto-backs-up on launch, and you can restore or move to another machine any time.

Consignment
—
Track items customers consign, what sold, and exactly what you owe each consignor. A payout settles their sold items automatically.

Time clock

Staff clock in and out; hours and pay total on the timesheet. Each employee has a NEXUS operator ID that stamps the records they create — the provenance of who handled an item.

Help & security
NEXUS support — call first, then work down the list
This page is static on purpose. If the computer is gone, stolen or you think someone got into it, you may be reading this from another machine — nothing here needs the network, a sign-in or a working scanner.
PC stolen or compromised
Work these in order. Steps 2 to 4 are on your own accounts and you can do them yourself right now — NEXUS cannot do them for you, because NEXUS never holds those passwords.
- Call NEXUS. Say the shop name and that the terminal is stolen or compromised. NEXUS can suspend the node, cut the station's access and start a key rotation from its side. Do this first — it is the only step that stops the missing machine from being treated as your shop.
- Rotate the Twilio auth token in your own Twilio console. This stops texts being sent as your shop.
- Revoke the Google refresh token from your Google account, under Security → Third-party access. This cuts calendar access.
- Change the SMTP password with your email provider, then re-link messaging and calendar in this app once both are rotated.
- Assume the customer data on that machine was readable. Customer records, invoices and staff details are stored on the terminal itself. Treat names, phone numbers, email addresses and purchase history on the missing machine as exposed, and tell NEXUS what was on it so the incident is recorded. Backups made without a passphrase are readable the same way — check the Backup panel for which of your archives are encrypted.
What NEXUS can and cannot do
- Can: suspend the node, refuse the stolen terminal, rotate the keys NEXUS issues, and record the incident.
- Cannot: touch your Twilio, Google or email accounts. Those are yours, which is why steps 2 to 4 are yours.
