The card scanner.
Built for flat cardstock at volume — sports and trading cards — where throughput matters as much as the record.
Robotic arm
A vacuum pickup lifts one card at a time off the stack and carries it through capture. No operator handling between intake and record.
Identification station
Front and back are read against the catalog held on the machine. Anything the stack cannot resolve on its own goes to review, and a person confirms it.
Condition station
Fixed geometry and controlled light measure the surface, corners and edges of that individual card. We measure and record; we do not grade.
Two enclosures
Identification and the arm sit in a 2U rack unit; condition capture sits in its own PC-case enclosure beside it.
